1990 Chevrolet Suburban |
I purchased Herb, the 'Burb, in 2006, in non operational condition...he needed new head gaskets and valve seals installed. Even with those two issues, the big SUV started right up and appeared to be in good mechanical condition, and it only had 80,xxx miles on the odometer. The Suburban is pretty basic, with the only options being front A/C, tilt, AM/FM cassette, and cruise control. The paint is in poor condition, as it suffers from the late 80's/early 90's GM peeling paint issue...but there is very little rust, so that is a good thing. Future plans call for new paint, and maybe a slight lowering...but that will be about it. This will be our summer family hauler, for taking on trips, running to the grocery store, and if I am lucky...hauling out of state project cars/trucks home.
