My name is Robert, I
work at a local air Force base painting aircraft for the Air Force (dirty job,
but the pay is nice), and this is my 1987 short-wide bed. It is a 1/2 ton,
with a 350 TBI engine, 700R4 transmission, and 3.08 rear end. I've have
the truck for over 9 years now and I've basically kept the truck stock as it is
my daily driver. It just rolled over 205,000 miles, so I figure that it's
just getting broke in anyway. When we get a third car, my future plans are
a mild 2.5/4 drop, a newer engine (LT1, LS1, TPI, or alike), some classy looking
rims and that's it! Drive her for another 200,000 miles.
